The Balcón de Europa camera looks out over Nerja's most famous viewpoint with the Mediterranean behind it, while the cameras at Playa Burriana and Playa El Salón show how busy the beach is and what the sea looks like right now. Along the Costa del Sol there are cameras in Torremolinos, Benalmádena, Fuengirola and Marbella, and inland in Ronda and Frigiliana.
Most visitors use the cameras to check whether it is sunny before a day trip, how windy the beach is, or what conditions look like at Málaga airport before flying. Every image comes straight from the camera and is replaced roughly every minute, around the clock.
